Tibi Spring 2027 referenced Dolly Parton, who died on 25 August 2026, and walked to I Will Always Love You

Tibi's Spring 2027 collection marked the label's 30th anniversary, and Amy Smilovic, who started Tibi in 1997, called Dolly Parton "my icon" backstage. On 31 August, Tibi's Gabriel Smilovic wrote that Parton's music and approach to living had shaped much of the way the house moves, and that no artist had influenced more of its inspiration boards, Spring 2027 included. For the runway on Saturday 12 September, the house's music director, Javier Peral, scored "I Will Always Love You" alongside tracks including "Rumble" and "Seasons Come, Seasons Go".In 2022 Parton said that when an old tape turned up, "I Will Always Love You" and "Jolene" were on the same cassette.
