Dreaming Eli SS27, Dreamers in Exile: the house's own account of the collection, from the Sicilian childhood to distressed silk

Dreaming Eli showed Dreamers in Exile, its SS27 collection, at Barts North Wing on 19 September 2026. Elisa Trombatore's notes walk five characters through it: innocence, desire, disillusionment, resistance and renewal. Her own line for the whole thing: "On the constant edge between dream and reality." Two accessories carry over. The Wild Hearts Bleed platform heels come back in satin, in blush and rose. And the New Pearl bag is 3D printed, made in partnership with Harry Mack and engineered by the production studio Unit9.

01DREAMING ELI'S SS27 COLLECTION IS CALLED DREAMERS IN EXILE. IT STARTS IN A SICILIAN CHILDHOOD AND ENDS IN LONDON AT NIGHT.

02IT SHOWED ON 19 SEPTEMBER 2026 AT ST BARTHOLOMEW'S HOSPITAL IN LONDON. THE DESIGNER IS ELISA TROMBATORE.

03THE HOUSE PUTS SICILY AT THE CENTRE: INHERITED TRADITIONS, OLD PHOTOGRAPHS, DOMESTIC OBJECTS, THE INTIMATE TRACES OF HOME.

04THEN ADULTHOOD, IN LONDON. THE DREAMER BECOMES A WANDERER, AND TATTOOS MARK THE BODY THE WAY SCARS DO.

05THE LABEL'S SIGNATURE IS DISTRESSING. HERE SILKS ARE BROKEN AND MANIPULATED, WITH COTTON AND GAUZE LAYERED IN.

06THE COLOURS ARE BLUSH AND ROSE, WITH WHITE SET AGAINST A HARSHER BLACK.

07HAND PAINTING RETURNS FROM LAST SEASON, ON FABRICS MADE TO LOOK LIVED IN: OLD PHOTOGRAPHS COLLAGED WITH RUFFLES AND PEARLS.

08SCREEN PRINTING IS NEW FOR THE HOUSE, CARRYING MOTIFS FROM BAROQUE SICILIAN CHURCHES AND FROM TATTOOS.

09DENIM, LACE AND VINYL ARE COMBINED TO RESEMBLE LEATHER, THEN RIPPED, THE LACE CUT BY HAND TO SHOW THE LAYERS UNDERNEATH.

10THE HOUSE CALLS IT ITS MOST COMPLETE COLLECTION, WITH JACKETS AND LINGERIE-INSPIRED PIECES ALONGSIDE THE SIGNATURES.
