Off-White 10x10: ten archive pieces handed to ten outside creatives, and which five of them have said publicly what they took
Off-White's 10x10 gives ten people from outside the house one archive piece each and lets them rebuild it. The line-up is deliberately not all designers. Scott Mescudi and A$AP Nast are musicians and Renell Medrano is a photographer. Raul Lopez runs Luar, Guillermo Andrade runs 424 in Los Angeles, Stephane Ashpool founded Pigalle in Paris, and Yuta Hosokawa, Ava Nirui and Veneda Carter come at clothes from design, editing and styling. It was announced in March and the events run through to next spring, so Milan is a stop rather than a launch. The framing is Virgil Abloh's legacy, and the method is his: take something everybody already recognises, give it to somebody else, and see what comes back.
