Moschino SS27: Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo's first collection for the house
Moschino's first collection under Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo showed in Milan on 25 September, three months after the house named them.
They are the founders of Sunnei, the Milan label they built on experimental presentations and a community-led idea of branding, and they arrive at a house whose whole identity was built on sending fashion up. Franco Moschino ran advertising in the fashion magazines calling for a stop to the fashion system.
Their own framing is careful about that inheritance: reignite it, do not imitate it. The line in their show notes ties the irreverence to the making underneath it.
