Noir Kei Ninomiya SS27, petal rebellion: flowers in the models' mouths, 'armor of peace', fresh lilies and dried flowers shedding on the runway, pearls falling from rigid ribs, playing-card harnesses in plexiglass
Noir Kei Ninomiya showed at 1pm on Saturday 3 October in Paris. Ninomiya says little backstage and gave the theme in two words; the constructions were rigid and transparent, the petals fragile, and the contrast between them was the collection. Beneath the flowers sat biker jackets, blazers and shirts, with pearls, bows and ruffles where the spikes and zips would usually be.
