Victoria Beckham SS27: the 1920s as the reference, dresses suspended from chains 'dancing around the body', sheer shifts weighted with beads, a kissing-birds print, slim high-waisted trousers, light outerwear

Victoria Beckham showed at the Conciergerie, the Gothic palace on the Île de la Cité in Paris, on Friday 2 October. The runway was pared to 44 looks. Beckham's own summary was elegance, rooted in reality, and the lightness of the dresses came from looking at the 1920s, which also shaped a new line of flat handbags.
