Lanvin SS27 by Peter Copping: a board of women who inspire him, Tina Chow and Anjelica Huston among them; narrow shawl-collared coats to open; Indian textiles from Jeanne Lanvin's own collection stripped of colour and set with mirrors as removable plastrons; long tunics

Lanvin's Spring 2027 show ran in Paris on Saturday 3 October. Copping kept the collection stripped back and restrained: daywear of shawl-collared jackets and black and white tailoring, then evening dresses in fragile chiffon and lace, with the mirrored plastrons tied on over them. Pina Bausch, Georgia O'Keeffe, Anna Piaggi and Elsa Peretti were on the board too.
