The LVMH Prize: 400,000 euros, the rules, the last four winners by date, the year it was cancelled and split eight ways
The LVMH Prize, founded by Delphine Arnault in 2014, gives its winner 400,000 euros and a year with a team of LVMH (@lvmh) experts. Two of its winners walked on the first day of Paris Fashion Week: Julie Kegels, who won on 4 September, opened the week at 14:30, and Hodakova, the 2024 winner, showed at 18:00.
Entrants must be between 18 and 40 and have made at least two collections. The last four finals, all at the Fondation Louis Vuitton: Setchu on 7 June 2023, Hodakova on 10 September 2024, Soshi Otsuki on 3 September 2025, Julie Kegels on 4 September 2026. The Karl Lagerfeld Prize, 200,000 euros, went in 2026 to Zane Li's New York label LII. In 2020 the final was cancelled and the 300,000 euros was split equally between the eight finalists, among them Ahluwalia, Casablanca, Chopova Lowena and Peter Do.
