Vivienne Westwood sold punk from one Chelsea shop

Vivienne Westwood dressed punk from a single Chelsea address. At 430 King's Road, she and Malcolm McLaren kept rebranding the same shop, SEX in 1974, then Seditionaries in 1976, and outfitted the Sex Pistols who hung around it. Then she did the opposite of rip-it-up: she brought the corset back as outerwear in 1987, and mined historical British tailoring and tartan. Punk, then the past, from the same hands.
