Valentino SS27 by Alessandro Michele in the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève: the antilibrary of unread books as unworn clothes, jewel-tone satin bustiers, '80s jackets with lace cycling shorts

Valentino's show ran on Sunday 4 October in the reading room of the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, in the Latin Quarter, with the guests seated along the library's benches. Alexander Skarsgård was among them. In the show notes Michele wrote that even the garments we will never wear, like books sitting unopened on our shelves, still speak to us of the lives we could have lived.
